In this Privacy Policy KAUST Schools is referred to as "KAUST Schools,"
"we," "us," or "our" and you, the end user, are
referred to as "you" or "your".
Certain KAUST Schools websites are freely accessible (“KAUST
Schools Public Websites”). Other KAUST Schools websites are restricted to those
who are authorized to access them by KAUST Schools and have a user name and
password ("KAUST Schools Portals"); these KAUST Schools Portals
include any KAUST Schools course offering made available through such websites (i.e.online

from users through both the KAUST Schools Public and Portal Websites (the “KAUST Schools

How We May Collect Personal Information-We may collect
information that personally identifies you when you obtain a user name and
password, when you communicate with us through a KAUST Schools website. We may
also obtain your personal information through a KAUST Schools website if it is
submitted by a representative of the institution (such as a school, school
district or other educational organization) or
by the individual (such as a parent or guardian) .
Types of Personal Information Collected- We may collect the
following types of personal information at the KAUST Schools websites:

or a teacher, school administrator or parent/guardian on behalf of a student,
obtains a user name and password or enrolls in an online course, we may request
the following personal information:

guardian contact information for the student
2. When a student enrolls,
student activity scores and grades are collected in a password-protected
location with limited access by the student, the student’s
parent(s)/guardian(s), the student’s teacher, or administrators from the
student’s school.
3. When a teacher,
school administrator or personnel from a Sponsoring Organization obtains a user
name and password, we may request the following personal information:

* school or organization

How Information Is Used and Shared-KAUST Schools Support. We
may use your personal information to provide user support to you for your use
of the KAUST Schools websites. Third Parties-Except as described in this
Privacy Policy, we will not disclose your personal information to third
parties. KAUST Schools may, however, use for its own purposes, aggregate
information that does not identify you personally, or share aggregate
information about our users business partners, sponsors, and other third
parties. For example, we may tell a business partner that x percent of KAUST
Schools's students are from outside of the Middle East and y percent from the Middle East.
Children and Our Privacy Policy-KAUST Schools provides

your initial documentation, you as a parent have given notice that you have read
and understand our Privacy Policy.
Non-personal User Information-An IP address is a number that
is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you're surfing the
Internet. When you request pages from KAUST Schools websites, our servers log
your computer's IP address. KAUST Schools collects these IP addresses for the
sole purpose of identifying our users' service providers (when you are away
from campus) so we can better develop our offerings at the KAUST Schools

takes you off the applicable KAUST Schools websites. KAUST Schools is not
