General Guidelines

It is the policy of KAUST Schools to provide educational opportunities for the children of qualified KAUST employees. 

Students requiring learning support will be admitted based upon the following procedure.

1.     Student will be accepted based on review of records by the Admissions Team.

2.     Student will be accepted provisionally pending further evaluation and clarification of needs by the Student Study Team.

3.     Student will not be accepted. Families have the option of appealing to KAUST’s Out of Policy Committee.

Age at Entry:

Students who are three years old on or before August 31 of the current school year are eligible to enter the Early Childhood Program and will be admitted to the K1 (three year old) program.

Students who are four years old or five years old on or before August 31 of the current school year will enter the four year old program (K2) or the five year-old program (K3).

 

Students must be toilet-trained before entering school.
