The Board of Trustees of the KAUST Schools will be the sole governing authority of the schools. In the schools' first year of operation, the tasks the Board must accomplish will set the tone and direction as we move toward authorization and accreditation by respected international organizations.
There will also be a parent-teacher association. The parents or
guardians of every student in the school are automatically members of the
association. The association does not
serve as a governing body, but rather in a supportive role for members of the
school community.
