On February 27th we have our annual Sports Gala Day for K3, Grade 1 and Grade 2. The day begins at 9:15 AM on the West Sports Field and activities finish at 11:30 AM, followed by a picnic lunch in the Gymnasium. Please ensure that your child is suitably dressed for physical activities on this day, and has a full water bottle, a hat and sunscreen. All parents are invited to come and see their child in action! A Grade 10 IB Information Evening for parents and students will be held on Sunday 26th February in the IB Testing Room at 5.30pm. Ms. Wilkinson and Mr. Zienchuk will be presenting to parents and students information about the courses offered in Grade 11 next year. We look forward to all parents and students attending this meeting.

Come join the Elementary and Secondary Principals in the Gardens Secondary School Theater on Sunday, February 5 at 6:30 p.m. for an informational session on the Measures of Academic Performance (MAP) which are administered to all students in Grades 3-10. You can learn more about how to read the MAP reports and better understand how TKS is using these data along with multiple other data sources to inform our decisions about teaching and learning.

Want to know more about the IB Diploma Programme? Ms. Wilkinson, our IB Diploma Coordinator, is available to speak informally with parents about the IB and KAUST Diploma programmes offered in Grades 11 and 12. There is no need to make an appointment; just drop in any Sunday starting from the 13th November from 3:10 - 4:00 p.m. in the IB Office in the Safaa Gardens Campus.
